HOPE Network Programs and Services
Tele-class Workshops and Support
As of Spring 2004 HOPE Network will provide
resources, support and group coaching to families throughout
the Twin Cities and outside the metro through a series of
tele-class workshops. The frequency of these classes will
be adjusted to meet the needs of the groups.
Registered participants will call a conference
bridge line and participate over the telephone. During these
90-minute telephone-based workshops families will learn
more about eating disorders, documentation and organization
skills necessary to navigate the medical and insurance system
and find resources available to families. During the group
coaching portion of the evening families will acquire valuable
skills for self-care, build connections with other families,
and learn and share support with one another. Tele-class
workshops and support meetings will be kept small to encourage
maximum participation and interaction.
